"What is Your Why??"

You've presumably been questioned about this several times and I don't even remember how long it took me to really comprehend why that question was necessary.

You see your why is what inspires and really pushes you on.

If it's strong enough, you will do whatever it takes to attain the results that you want for yourself.

Alternatively if it's not acute enough, this business is so unrelenting that you may well become one of the many who fail.

When you're new to internet marketing it's easy to get caught up in the idea of making oodles of money and that's a factor that not many of us don't affirm as one aspect of our incentive for getting involved in this business. Yet that aim alone will not be enough to sustain you and keep you picking yourself up, dusting yourself off and keeping going when the going gets tough..

Your why has to be an internal factor, for it to push you hard enough to keep driving you forward when all you want to do is sit in the corner and lick your wounds, it has to be something that you get real excited about in it's own right, something that makes you feel whole regardless of whether you have enough money to pay your bills.

Finding your why is what empowers you to stop chasing people and start drawing them to you, when you realise what makes you act, what really drives you and you harness that, others respond to the confidence and the enhanced self awareness that creates and they find themselves drawn by that decisiveness.

When you first got involved, were you told to draw up your warm list and work on them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's chasing, and it's a fast way to get those people switched off and avoiding you. Sure if you're fortunate you may have several people on that list who are fired up and willing to do whatever it takes, but in all fairness, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off the minute that you start talking about your company? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and establish you as the guy or gal that they least want to spend time with.

It's important for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move ahead with you rather than those who need so much help to take a step or two that they drag you backwards constantly.
